In Sep 1953, the 29th Division, with Grigadier General Choi Hong-hee as divisional commander, was founded in Sangmo-ri in Jeju island.

For the first time in Korea's military history, this unit distributed taekwondo. The three-sided monument is engraved with phrases of strong physical strength, through training, and fighting spirit. The 29th Division moved to Yangyang , Ganwondo in jun 1954. The monument was broken down into three parts in 1985 and buried in the ground. However, in response to the aspiration of the local residents who wanted to have a taekwondo park built in Daejeong area., the Daejeong-eup Development Association and the Sangmo-ri Youth Association discovered the monument from the area around 2949-5, Sangmo-ri on Nov 2nd,2000. In the following year, it was relocated in front of Nongnammot pond in Sangmo-ri and restored when a small park was built

The Founder of Taekwondo name and Arts, General Choi hong- hee wrote JinGun and built this Pogoda in Pocheon, Gyunggido.

The Founder of Taekwondo name and Arts, Gr. Choi hong hee wrote GwanEum. It is located on a hill overlooking Younglang lake, Sokcho, Gangwondo.

While making a Mysiryung Pass in Gangwondo, Ge. Choi hong hee wrote Chong Tong & engraved this letter on the rock.

Gr. choi wrote this letter. It is located in Mt. wudoon, chuncheon city, Gangwondo.

This tower was built by Ge. Choi hong hee in 1955. The Letter also was wrritten by him. It is located in Hyunsan park in Yangyang, Gangwondo.
